## Burger King Team MemberApplylocations: Moosic, PAtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR1370## **Job Description:**The primary purpose of the Burger King Team Member is to directly interact with customers and deliver a fast, fun and friendly experience while maintaining a safe and clean environment.**Duties:*** Greets every customer in a quick and courteous manner.* Provides a pleasant dining experience to all our customers and responds to customer inquiries in a timely fashion.* Handles all customer complaints according to company policies and procedures.* Develops and maintains product knowledge and provides customers with product recommendations.* Follows sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.* Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies and ordinances.* Sustains consistent high quality of food preparation and service.* Keeps professional image by maintaining proper uniform and appearance standards.* Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner.* Helps other associates in their duties and assists new associates in learning their new job skills.* Communicates any issues of concerns and ensures all internal matters are presented to GM in a timely manner.* General knowledge of all point-of-sale equipment.* Processes customer sales accurately and efficiently. Ensures cash drawer levels are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.* Receives and stocks all merchandise in accordance with company policy.* Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures.* Ensures stock is faced up, clean and presentable at all times.* Apply the FIFO (first in first out) system, when receiving or stocking any product.* Ensures all damaged and/or out of date stock is removed, accurately recorded and placed in designated quarantine area.* Follows portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize loss.* Maintains full control of the store and its contents at all times using prevention techniques as per company to minimize loss (i.e. drive offs or retail theft etc).* Follows company policies and procedures for securing the premises upon end of day closure.* Maintains a high standard of cleanliness.* Cleans in accordance with the brands specific sanitary standards including but not limited to: sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, tables, kitchen and service equipment.* Cleans the customer service area by removing trash, cleaning restrooms and the parking lot.* Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to assure workers, customers, suppliers/contractors and the environment are not at risk.* Complies with all company safety policies, procedures and instructions.* Uses materials handling procedures and equipment provided to minimize contamination or injury.* Reports to management any unsafe practice or condition and follows all safety initiatives.**Requirements*** Physically capable of standing for long hours.**Disclaimer:**The list of Principal Duties, Essential Functions, and Basic Qualifications is illustrative but not exhaustive.
