Fabrication Supervisor

We're searching for a Fabrication Supervisor, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll lead the welding team and supervise members on and off-site to ensure efficient final assembly, electrical work and quality/shipping readiness is completed and that materials are available. You'll also work closely with production, project management and quality in collaboration to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue/profit for the company.

• Ensures safety of all team members at on-site and off-site facilities to accomplish required work
• Ensures that all work performed meets the manufacturer's standards and provides feedback to all departments on any non-conforming product
• Supervises and develops both direct and in-direct team members
• Participates as a key member of the Material Review Board, along with quality, project management and production to determine the disposition of product
• Performs minor mechanical and electrical repairs as needed
• Adjusts and aligns parts and systems to meet manufacturer specifications
• Completes all necessary inspection checklists and documentation
• Records any issues found and the corrective actions taken
• Ensures accurate reporting of vehicle condition and readiness
• Conducts final quality checks before vehicle delivery
• Communicates any recurring issues or quality concerns to the management team

• High school diploma or related equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred
• 10+ years of welding experience required
• 3+ years of leadership experience required
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish preferred
• Previous experience and demonstrated success in team leadership and leader development preferred
• Deep understanding of the manufacturing business preferred
• Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics and the ability to impact them preferred
• Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives preferred
