This is an employee position.Part-time with a potential to increase hours due to veteran needs!About Us:Simple Steps, LLC is a family owned and operated company that collaborates with various organizations to provide in-home and community programming for wounded veterans. We utilize one-on-one care to foster positive relationships with our clients in order to facilitate their personal success.Job Description:The music therapist provides individualized therapeutic sessions for our veterans. This position includes the following:Assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.Facilitating therapeutic music activities to foster client growth.Submit weekly documentation with session observations and client progress.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster communication and team unity.Qualifications and Preferred Criteria:MT-BC certificationBachelor's degree or higherPreferred Experience:Experience with traumatic brain injuryExperience working with veteransExperience working with mental health conditionsExperience working with post traumatic stress disorderAll individuals should have the following:ResumeCPR certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)Social security cardDriver's licenseBenefits:Flexible work scheduleMileage reimbursementContact Us:For more information about our company, please visit our web site at Compensation: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour.We have a calling to change people's lives in a positive way, working to help veterans—so they can lead more rewarding lives.
