We are seeking a Medical Assistant to perform routine administrative and clinical assignments for a busy hepatology practice in downtown Los Angeles and Tarzana. Candidate can opt in to retirement and medical benefits after three months of employment. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Handle patient communications through phone and dedicated apps
- Support physician and physician assistant
- Manage tasks directed through internal electronic medical records system
- Gather tests results, request records, check eligibility
- Vital signs, patient intake
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
