Job Summary

The DC Administrator is responsible for supporting the Operations Coordinator's activities at the pellet plant. They are to perform administrative duties that help keep the mill supplied with consumables, track and monitor inventory, and compile reports to ensure a data-centric focus for making sound decisions. Performs routine clerical duties in a Distribution Center in accordance with standard administrative office procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Schedule product pickups and deliveries.
  • Check in customer trucks as they are called in from the guard shack.
  • Miscellaneous copying, laminating, and distributing.
  • Make all paperwork for trucks being shipped out.
  • Create and maintain Track/Rank/Publish boards as required.
  • Sales Meeting Notes/Handouts as requested.
  • Customer mail check requests (validation).

Inventory Control

  • Understand and assist with inventory control.

Receptionist Duties

  • Greet visitors, answer, and direct phones.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to coordinate loading appointments.
  • Good customer service relations.

Audits and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the company audit guidelines.
  • NSF Review and tracking - notification to sales.

Qualification Requirements

Education: High school education or GED equivalent. 2 - 5 years of experience in an automated office environment required. 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment or experience in customer service. Inventory Control experience preferred.

Excellent communication, people skills, and phone etiquette

Excellent organization and time management skills

Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Accurate data entry

Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 20lbs. occasionally. Able to work in extreme indoor and outdoor environments, temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees.
