Sr. Network EngineerLocation: Lathrop, CA (Onsite)Glint Tech Solutions is a women-owned, global IT staffing and recruiting firm serving enterprise clients across the USA and Canada.Support for network engineering, implementation, and operations across a global enterprise's workplace, factory, and logistics warehouse environments, ensuring compliance with established architecture, security policy, and best practices.Collaborate with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiativesMaintain network solutions across workplace, factory, and warehouse sitesServe as Tier-1/2 escalation pointWork with manufacturing engineers to gather requirements and propose network solutionsProvision, implement, test, and maintain networking servicesAdhere to change request processesMonitor, analyze, and report on network service metricsMaintain network knowledgebase and operational run-booksOccasional weekend/after-hours/holiday availability; ~10% travel4-8 years of experience in mid-to-large global enterprise networkingStrong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (STP, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, QoS, VLAN, ACL, NAC, infrastructure cablingMulti-vendor firewall experience: Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper SRXMulti-vendor switching experience: Juniper EX/QFX, Cisco Industrial EthernetLow voltage CAT6, Fiber, and IT Room layout/environmental experienceCircuit carrier troubleshooting experienceFamiliarity with Protocol Analyzer, Git, SplunkScripting skills for infrastructure automation and metrics collectionProficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VisioStrong organizational and analytical/troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationHigh degree of professionalism and integrity
