Travel PRN Emergency Room RN provides flexible, on-call coverage in a rural critical access hospital, delivering high-quality emergency care. The role offers competitive hourly pay up to $55 and day/night shifts with a 26-week contract. Nurses will work with a supportive team in a fast-paced emergency department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a variety of emergency medical conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with facility policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a rural healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Experience with emergency stabilization, triage, trauma, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients.
