Job Title Per Diem Speech Pathologist (School Services) – Union County, NJ Location Mountainside (MTN), 150 New Providence Rd, Mountainside, NJ 07092 Department SPF - School Based Therapies Pay $73.15 per hour Schedule Day shift, Per Diem Available during regular school hours at assigned site and for required meetings within the parameters of the scheduled work day. Responsibilities Deliver speech‑language therapy services, focusing on improving a child's ability to participate fully in the school environment. Develop, implement, and evaluate goal‑oriented educational interventions for students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in IEP and other school meetings (in‑person, by phone, or virtual). Provide instruction, training, supervision, and monitoring of school personnel on therapeutic plans, techniques, and modalities. Assess, re‑assess, and evaluate students, meeting district and CSH School Services requirements and timelines. Maintain therapy inventory and equipment. Complete required documentation, databases, schedules, and billing logs per district and department policy. Complete mandatory education and training requirements within stated timeframes. Support the mission and goals of Children's Specialized Hospital's School Services as a representative of the organization. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program. Active NJ Speech Language Pathology License. School Certification in New Jersey. Experience working with medically fragile children and pediatric affiliation (preferred). Certifications and Licenses Required NJ Speech Language Pathology License. School Certification in New Jersey. Other Duties Will participate in IEP and other school meetings when appropriate. Supports efforts to accomplish the goals of Children's Specialized Hospital's School Services, representing the organization and adhering to non‑compete policies.
