Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred; Bachelor's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred.
• Three years' technical experience preferred.
• Experience as Special Procedures Technologist preferred.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required.
• Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system to aid in diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
• Positions and immobilizes patients on examining tables according to specified protocols.
• Assists physicians with specialized procedures and interventional techniques within the cardiovascular lab.
• Provides clinical care using technical and organizational skills.
• Models and mentors staff on technical skills and assists in staff training.
• Provides input on hiring and promotion decisions for staff.

Compliance / Notes:

• Variable shift options may include early morning shifts such as 7am-5:30pm or 8am-6:30pm.
• Call required after hours and every other weekend, including two weeknights per week.
