Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred; Bachelor's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred.
- Three years' technical experience preferred.
- Experience as Special Procedures Technologist preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required.
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required.
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required.
- Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system to aid in diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
- Positions and immobilizes patients on examining tables according to specified protocols.
- Assists physicians with specialized procedures and interventional techniques within the cardiovascular lab.
- Provides clinical care using technical and organizational skills.
- Models and mentors staff on technical skills and assists in staff training.
- Provides input on hiring and promotion decisions for staff.
Compliance / Notes:
- Variable shift options may include early morning shifts such as 7am-5:30pm or 8am-6:30pm.
- Call required after hours and every other weekend, including two weeknights per week.
