Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Aurora, CO, requiring at least 1 year of acute care telemetry experience and active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Job Details

• Day shift position, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 13-week contract,
• CC4 Telemetry unit within a 345-bed, 3-time Magnet-designated hospital,
• Large cardiac patient population served across two telemetry floors and a PCU floor,
• Patient ratio is 1:5 on days (ratios may vary by unit),
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN,
• Floating required to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units,

Job Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date),
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required for Telemetry RNs,
• Minimum 1 year of recent, acute care telemetry experience required,
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration,
• One professional reference required,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible,
• Chemo certification (ONC) is a plus and may allow scheduling on the Oncology unit,
• The unit emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and willingness to float across varied inpatient settings,
