Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
• Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and safety protocols
• Assist in maintaining a sterile operating environment
• Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures
• Document all anesthesia care per legal and regulatory requirements
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technology

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing, with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia
• Current CRNA certification and active state licensure
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an anesthesiology setting
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia delivery methods and patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions
• Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor colleagues

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3p

Potential Beeper Call: Weekdays (3p-7a) or weekends (7a-7p)

5 ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, and 1 urology suite

Case Types: Bread and butter, general surgery, urology, ENT, OB, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pediatric dental

Will practice independently

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
