Requirements
- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Dentrix
- Eaglesoft
- Infection Control License
- Licensed dental hygienist
- Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Open Dental
License: Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Oregon.
Certifications: CPR/BLS Certification; Nitrous Oxide Certification is a major plus!
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in dental software (experience with Open Dental is preferred).
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, a patient-first demeanor, and a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge: Expertise in HIPAA, infection control, and preventive health.
Job Description
Clinical Excellence: Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, SRPs, and full mouth debridements with precision.
Patient Advocacy: Assist patients in understanding diagnoses and treatment options; provide personalized oral health education.
Diagnostic Support: Take high-quality digital X-rays and impressions while following all safety protocols.
Prevention: Apply sealants and fluoride treatments to help our patients maintain lifelong oral health.
Care Coordination: Manage patient records and scheduling using Open Dental software.
Safety First: Maintain strict infection control and sterilization procedures to keep our community safe.
