This part-time contract opportunity is perfect for professionals seeking variety and autonomy, as you will serve as an itinerant physical therapist, traveling between multiple school sites to deliver high-quality care and support for students participating in the Extended School Year (FSY) program.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Physical Therapist license in Arizona
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP goals and therapy documentation requirements
• Ability to work with students across categories of need, from mild to severe
• Must possess or be able to obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to start
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to various learning environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services in alignment with IEPs
• Travel between assigned school sites to facilitate therapy for diverse caseloads
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain thorough documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and recommend adaptive equipment as needed
• Support inclusive learning environments by sharing strategies with school staff
• Adhere to all relevant school and state policies
