Job Description
Registered Nurse - ICU/Stepdown Schedule 12-hour days, 7 AM to 7 PM, weekdays with every other weekend required. Assignment Details Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Requirements
- Active RN license in the state required at the time of submission
- 2-3 years of ICU experience (closer to 2 years must be robust experience)
- Skills checklist matching specialty is required; experience in stepdown preferred
- Experience with EMR systems preferred, Cerner experience is a plus
- Ability to float among various units such as ED, stepdown, and med-surg
- Current driver's license with matching address is required
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in ICU and stepdown units
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support and mentor less experienced staff as needed
