Job Description Preforms analyses on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine, to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. This position is not eligible for sponsorship/we will not sponsor or transfer a visa for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F1-STEM OPT extension program. Qualifications For MT - Baccalaureate Degree in one of the following:
For MLT - Associate's degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or U.S. military Medical Laboratory-training program. Skills Experience working in a medical field Required. Moderate to advanced computer skills. Possess good written and oral communications skills, the ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects. Preferred: Phlebotomy Willingness to travel to other MCHS locations for assignments as needed.
