Role Associate Photographers are responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital camera equipment, and iPad, you create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes. Each photographer works within a defined core territory and meets scheduled appointments to scan homes and adjacent commercial properties. Responsibilities Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours, footprints, and high‑quality photographs. Create a portfolio of photographs that best showcase homes and apartments using professional photography techniques. Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands. Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and initiatives. While not photographing a residence, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identifying new inventory and missing listings. Follow CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicle and equipment. Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times and participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. Physical Requirements Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, walking, and carrying equipment up to 5 lbs for up to 8 hours per day; lifting, carrying, and maneuvering equipment, typing on a tablet or laptop, and operating camera equipment. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying. Ability to work and drive outdoors in all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional experience. Track record of commitment to prior employers. Real estate photography experience required; professional photographer background or photography degree preferred. High School Diploma/GED. Strong customer‑service orientation with a client‑first mindset. Drone photographer experience with an FAA Part 107 license (certification within 30 days of offer). Strong time‑management, detail orientation, and data capture skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and Windows/Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with Apple iOS products is a plus. Independent worker in a fast‑paced environment; field experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
