Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 30-bed Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit, managing both floor and stepdown patients.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Deliver care for patients with complex wound care, traumatic injuries, and respiratory support needs.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including care management and perioperative services.
• Float to like units, maintaining a standard of care across different patient settings.
• Ensure BLS certification is maintained to adhere to facility and role requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma center.
• Experience with EPIC charting and managing a 1:6 patient ratio on floor and a 1:3 ratio on stepdown.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to care for multi-trauma, TBI, fractures, and bariatric surgery patients.
• Proficiency in reading and validating telemetry strips.
