ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1983 after starting my career as a State Farm claims adjuster and spending time in the finance industry. State Farm became my third career stop, and it turned into a lifelong profession. Today, our team includes six members, and we operate with a close-knit, family-style culture built on teamwork and long-term success.

I’m a graduate of Frostburg State University, where I earned a degree in business administration and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. I remain very involved with the university, serving on the foundation board, alumni board of directors, and the college of business board. I’m also deeply involved in my church, where I serve as Chairman of Trustees, financial officer, and a member of the personnel committee. Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor and develop very successful future agents.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Buster Nelson - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
• Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
