MONITOR TECH/ICU - [Nights] - UNION GENERAL - Full Time

Job TitleThis position is responsible for obtaining, analyzing and accurately documenting patient rhythm strips under the supervision of an RN. Other job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: interpreting and processing physician orders, answering phones, maintaining telemetry units, ward clerk duties, and patient care (ex. Feeding, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting and vital signs). This should be performed under the supervision of an RN or the Nurse Manager.Education: HS Diploma or GEDLicensure: C.N.A. or Medical Assistant certification requiredCertification: BLS (Basic Life Saving) - to be obtained within 60 days of hire.Other: EKG Class & CompetencyExperience: Minimum - up to 1 year job related experiencePreferred - 2 - 5 years of recent job related experience
