Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an OB/GYN Generalist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology focuses on delivering the highest quality care to our patients. We employ multidisciplinary simulation, huddling, and debriefs to promote teamwork and standardize care to continually improve our processes. We work collaboratively with nurses, midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to deliver the highest quality care to our patients in a safety net setting.

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Utilize advanced obstetric skills to manage high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries.
• Maintain a balanced outpatient clinic schedule, while prioritizing continuity of care for your OB patients.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our team of physicians, certified nurse-midwives, and specialized nursing staff.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• 5 to 15 years of post-residency clinical experience.
• Advanced competency in complex obstetrics, operative vaginal deliveries, and VBAC management.
• Active New York State medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• A warm bedside manner, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for the obstetric side of women's healthcare.

Wages and benefits include:

• Annual base salary: $296,000* (board eligible); $301,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $70,200***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
