Installation Team Member

Metalcrafters NC is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Installation Team Member to join our field operations team. In this hands-on position, you'll help install custom miscellaneous metal products on commercial construction projects, including stair systems, handrails, guardrails, platforms, gates, structural components, and other specialty fabricated products.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Install miscellaneous metal products in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, field conditions, and project requirements
• Load, unload, transport, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment for installation
• Complete assigned installation work efficiently to help keep projects on schedule
• Review and follow shop drawings, field measurements, layouts, and installation details
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other jobsite equipment
• Keep work areas clean, organized, safe, and professional throughout each project
• Follow Metalcrafters safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and all applicable jobsite safety rules
• Use the Metalcrafters app for time tracking, job photos, documentation, daily updates, and field communication
• Complete required installation reports, paperwork, and project documentation accurately
• Maintain clear communication with Foremen, Project Managers, General Contractors, and fellow team members
• Help identify field conflicts, punch list items, and installation challenges and assist with developing practical solutions
• Work alongside the installation crew to meet daily, weekly, and overall project goals
• Represent Metalcrafters professionally on job sites, with customers, and in the community

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required
• Previous construction, installation, ironworking, welding, or metal fabrication experience is preferred
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic construction math
• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, and field layouts is preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions and active construction environments
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and other approved equipment
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including OSHA-10, First Aid, CPR, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, telehandler, and other applicable equipment certifications
• Consistent attendance, reliability, and punctuality are essential
