About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP of High Voltage to lead its high voltage construction business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full P&L of the business unit, including setting and executing HV strategy, managing HV estimating and preconstruction teams, and ensuring the safe, on-schedule, and on-budget delivery of high voltage projects. This senior leadership role requires a deep technical command of substation, switchyard, and transmission line construction, as well as a proven track record in delivering complex HV projects. The SVP will also be tasked with championing an industry-leading HV safety culture, managing customer and utility relationships, and scaling the HV organization to meet pipeline demand. Applicants for the SVP of High Voltage position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in high voltage, substation, or transmission construction, with a focus on utility-scale or large industrial projects. The role demands a leader with strong P&L and operational management experience, expert-level knowledge of HV safety protocols, and a background in managing long-lead-item procurement risk. Preferred qualifications include experience in renewable EPC interconnection scope, self-perform HV construction leadership, and technical or management credentials such as a PE license or PMP. The SVP will be expected to integrate and collaborate with other business units, particularly in the areas of solar and storage, and to support the company's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
