The Investor Relations team serves as interface between BMS & the investment community, working regularly with executive management in communicating BMS’ key messages in a consistent & strategic manner while monitoring & presenting the view of the investment community regarding the company’s performance. The Senior Director is a strategic role that involves greater responsibility and an expanded scope within Investor Relations. This role requires a proactive and dynamic leader who can drive Investor Relations goals & initiatives while leading, managing, and executing the global investor relations program.

This will include developing corporate messages, presentations & analyses in support of quarterly earnings, investor conferences, medical meetings & other investor events. This individual is expected to serve as a spokesperson for day-to-day inquiries from investors & sell-side analysts, as well as monitor & analyze trading data, industry trends, & peer company performance. To perform these activities, this individual will need to collaborate across multiple functional areas in the company & in will need to work closely with corporate communications and the corporate secretaries' team to ensure alignment in messages for external audiences.

Major Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Assist in developing strategic plans to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Take lead role in developing various written materials such as key messages, Q&A and slides for use on quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, medical meetings & other key investor events.
• Be a productive member of cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment to maximize efficiency and innovation.
• Assist the preparation & analysis of financial information by collecting, analyzing analyst models & collaborating with Financial Reporting & Financial Analysis to compare analyst models with internal projections.
• Monitor & analyze data relating to trading activity, relevant industry data, & peer company performance, including consensus models & provide insights to IR team & management.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of BMS’ products & business, competitor
