Security OfficerThe Security Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff of Amery Hospital & Clinic. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols, emergency response, public assistance, report writing, investigative services and other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Security Operations. Essential functions include:Patrol all areas of the hospital (internal and external) and any off-site properties owned and/or operated by Amery Hospital & Clinic on a daily basis as requested.Respond to the emergency needs of the organization and its occupants when necessary.Respond to routing requests of all departments of Amery Hospital & Clinic.Report and investigate all incidents.Keep accurate documentation of all events during a scheduled shift.Responsible for quick registration for patients entering the emergency department.Work Schedule:Night Shift (6:00pm-6:00am) Day Shift (6:00am-6:00pm), Casual position is to assist in covering vacation and sick calls. Days and shifts vary depending on department need.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent Demonstrates keyboarding skill and computer knowledge Valid, unrestricted driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:Post high school education in the field of law enforcement One year experience in customer service Experience in working security, Law Enforcement, Military or mental health HealthPartners
