Work Environment\nThis is a remote position, allowing for flexibility in your work location while supporting our client base in Grand Prairie, Texas, and surrounding areas. Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential flexibility to adjust hours based on client needs. As a part of our supportive team, you will engage in regular meetings and case discussions via virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough cultural assessments to identify patients' unique backgrounds and concerns, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), specifically adapted to respect cultural influences and individual circumstances. \n
- Provide engaging individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapy aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of clients. \n
- Work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to create a comprehensive care plan for each patient. \n
- Act promptly in crisis situations, offering immediate support and interventions as needed to ensure client safety. \n
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take charge of their health. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards. \n
- Participate actively in case conferences and cultural competency training to enhance team collaboration and service delivery. \n
- Stay updated on current research, best practices, and cultural dynamics in mental health treatment. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas. \n
- A deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practices. \n
- Experience with both individual and group therapy that reflects an inclusive approach, especially for clients from underrepresented communities. \n
- Strong crisis intervention capabilities coupled with the ability to remain composed in stressful situations. \n
