Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nursing Location: Issaquah, WA 98029 Setting: On-site hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date: 09/21/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,270 Orientation: 40 hours Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in hand; compact license required at submission Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience Epic charting experience required First-time travelers accepted Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate ACLS preferred Experience with obstetric nursing, triage, antepartum, postpartum, and high-risk deliveries Ability to provide 2 professional references covering the last year of experience Must be comfortable with holiday commitment and floating as needed based on skill set Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care for laboring, preterm labor, antepartum, and postpartum patients Assist with circulating, pre-op, post-op, scrub, and triage duties as needed in the L&D unit Support low-risk and high-risk deliveries with a focus on safe, compassionate patient care Perform patient assessments, fetal monitoring, and nursing interventions for obstetric patients Administer blood and blood products, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate per protocol Manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, drains, and wound vacs Participate in cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket use, and other unit procedures Collaborate with the care team to support couplet care, transition nursery needs, and GYN surgeries Float to Post-Partum or nearby sister facilities when required by assignment needs Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job?
