You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. Childcare Assistant Teacher Qualifications: Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers Teaching and working at Discovery Point is more than just a “daycare job.” It’s an opportunity to impact the lives of the children in your community with a rewarding career path in child care.
