Radiation Therapist
Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Perform treatment simulations and fabricate all necessary shielding blocks. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Prepare equipment for patient treatments by performing quality control and assurance tests. Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives, and standards of practice. Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff. This position is subject to strict attendance policies. Absenteeism or tardiness beyond specified limits may lead to immediate termination. Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization will be reviewed. Adhere to provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety, and inter-disciplinary cooperation.
