Contract | 16 Weeks | Night Shift (3x12, 19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hours per week accepted | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5, up to 1:6 with lower acuity patients
• Work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required (4 weekends per 4-week schedule cycle)
• Work holidays as they fall within the assigned schedule; traveler may request one major holiday off during the contract period
• Float within the Telemetry specialty and to lower acuity areas as needed — travelers are first to float
• Maintain active compliance with all required certifications including MD RN License, BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), NIHSS, and CPI

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry RN experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification required – The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address); locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless the posting specifically states otherwise

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Comfort with floating within scope to varying acuity levels with no restrictions
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
• Flexibility with scheduling, as schedule restrictions cannot be requested
