About the Position

Familiarity with pressors, sedation, and paralytics. Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, and telemetry interpretation. Understanding of hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation. Description: This role involves providing critical care to patients in an intensive care unit. The facility is recognized for achieving high clinical quality and has received multiple awards for patient safety. The unit is equipped with advanced medical technologies including ventilators and telemetry systems. The patient-to-nurse ratio may vary depending on patient acuity. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring and administering medications, as well as performing various procedures such as central line insertion and cardioversion. A commitment to patient safety and high-quality care is essential for success in this position. The uniform is required to be navy or a combination of navy and white.
