Behavioral Health Therapist - Adult Outpatient The DuPage County Health Department is proud to announce an opening for a Behavioral Health Therapist, providing outpatient care for the adult population. About the Position This position works out of our Central Public Health Center, located in Wheaton, IL. It is a 37.5-hour-per-week position with possible flexibility within the week. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm for four days, and 10:30 am-7:00 pm one day a week. Compensation Master's degree & license (LSW, LPC): $51,075 to $65,000 Clinical License (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT): $59,240 to $69,940 Benefits Comprehensive training program and we pay for it. Manages client caseload and maintains regular contact with clients. Provides diagnostic assessments, and develops treatment plans to determine the frequency, duration, and intensity of treatment. Provides referrals to community resources and monitors service delivery across providers to promote successful whole health treatment outcomes. Maintains accurate and compliant documentation and clinical records. Maintains required training, licensure and/or certification and confidentiality of privileged information while adhering to client privacy laws. Participates in emergency response activities as assigned. Qualifications Completion of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field and two years of experience with a chronically mentally ill population; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Fluent in Spanish. Good knowledge of community resources and ability to work collaboratively with service providers. Position requires an LCSW or LCPC or eligibility to test for clinical licensure.
