Safety Supervisor

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Health and Safety compliance at our manufacturing plant in Cordele. Principal Responsibilities Health and Safety facility inspections Health and Safety facility audits Health and Safety facility training Health and Safety policy, programs, and procedures implementation Perform accident and incident investigation as necessary Provides directions to other department supervisors and plant employees in regards to health and safety matters Accurate and timely Health and Safety reporting and recordkeeping Occasional travel to EHS training events May be responsible for additional plant operations Participates and contributes to company safety program Perform other related duties as assigned Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Qualifications: Education: (Required) High School Diploma or GED; (Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety Science Experience: 5 years + EHS consulting or facility EHS management in a manufacturing industry preferred License/Certification: NA Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with computers (specifically Microsoft Office Products) Quality program implementation experience Problem solving skills Critical writing Public speaking Training Teamwork Valid US State driver's license Flexibility Ability to multitask Confidentiality #J-18808-Ljbffr
