Senior Global Business Intelligence Analyst

Do you enjoy figuring out people, financial and product issues and solving it by looking at data, KPIs and other analysis?

The HR Business Intelligence Analyst will support the achievement of business goals by influencing change through the creation and development of HR analytics and data insights, while supporting the implementation of the global HR strategy.

This role will enable data-driven decision-making by leading the development, implementation, and management of HR analytics and reporting. This role will also work closely with HR leaders and business stakeholders, globally, to provide strategic insights that inform workforce planning, employee engagement, talent management and retention initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the design and development of HR data analytics strategy and framework to support business objectives and the HR strategy
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of HR data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and manage reporting dashboards to deliver actionable insights for HR leadership and stakeholders, globally
  • Conduct predictive analytics and predictive modeling to support workforce planning, talent management, retention strategies, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for HR data governance, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations
  • Partner closely with senior HR and business executives on data governance, workforce policy, and strategic people analytics initiatives
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to develop KPIs and metrics that align with organizational goals
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret HR data directly from HRIS/HCM systems to drive business insights and organizational decision-making
  • Leverage historical and current labor analytics and analysis to help align labor plans with company production targets
  • Leverage data to identify areas of opportunity to drive growth, engagement, and process improvement
  • Support global sustainability and diversity & inclusion initiatives through data and trend analysis
  • Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize the company’s global HR technology investments
  • Obtain business intelligence from multiple sources including company data, industry, and field reports, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics or purchased sources
  • Prepare and submit compliance data and reports per external agency requests (e.g., EEO reporting)
  • Uphold and be an advocate for the protection and privacy of employee data
  • Collaborate with global business leaders and HR stakeholders to support enterprise-wide workforce analytics initiatives across international operations

Position Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with the organization’s HCM system (Dayforce) or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience working directly within HRIS/HCM systems and independently extracting and manipulating data, rather than relying on prebuilt reports or externally provided datasets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, OData or similar tools
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proven skills developing and analyzing advanced people analytics, HR dashboards and labor reporting
  • Proven experience with predictive analytics, predictive modeling, talent management analytics, and employee engagement reporting
  • Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate data and analytics to business needs
  • Demonstrates strong HR technology acumen and pursues knowledge of industry advancements
  • Ability to collaborate, problem-solve and create solutions with all levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding of HR metrics, workforce analytics, data migration, and data governance best practices
  • Experience supporting senior-level executives and presenting data-driven recommendations with strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Experience working within a global organization and supporting international HR operations and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics and workforce trends into actionable recommendations for executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy
  • Strong focus on discretion and confidentiality
