Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

to join our in-house rehabilitation team in a

subacute/skilled nursing setting

. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality, patient-centered therapy services to residents with a variety of medical, orthopedic, and rehabilitation needs. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping residents achieve greater mobility, independence, and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility, transfers, balance, gait training, and strengthening activities. Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist. Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist and appropriate healthcare team members. Educate residents and caregivers regarding exercises, mobility, safety, and use of assistive devices. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in interdisciplinary communication and care planning as appropriate. Follow facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Texas

. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Previous experience in a skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or healthcare setting preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
