One of our amazing dental assistants is off to advanced schooling (we're so proud we could burst — but yes, we're also a little heartbroken). Her exciting next chapter means there's a spot open on our close-knit team, and we have a feeling it might be perfect for you! You'll be right in the middle of the action — working alongside our doctor during exams and surgical procedures, helping patients feel calm and cared for, and keeping the day running smoothly. Oral surgery experience is a plus, but honestly? We're happy to train the right person. Skills can be taught — a warm heart and a great attitude can't!
- Welcome patients and help them feel right at home
- Chat with patients about their care plan and answer their questions
- Take vital signs and record medical history
- Prep sterilized instruments and equipment for exams and procedures
- Assist the doctor during procedures — including implant surgery (it's pretty cool, we promise)
- Help with scheduling and front-office flow when needed
- Order clinical supplies and implant components
- Keep us on our toes with health and safety best practices
- Dental assisting experience — oral surgery background is a bonus, but we'll gladly train the right candidate
- Current Basic Life Support / CPR certification (required)
- New Jersey Radiology License
- Curiosity about dental implants (or a genuine excitement to learn!)
- Solid computer and data entry skills
- Great communication and a friendly, welcoming vibe
- A big heart for patient care
