GDOT IT Trainer/Content Developer

IT Training SpecialistUnder broad supervision, conducts IT application training classes and develops/updates content for training materials. Owns assigned tasks. Delivers IT training to GDOT staff on custom GDOT IT developed and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf applications. Works with GDOT users to identify training needs, courses, and content. Publishes training schedules/course offerings within GDOT Learning Management System, administers learner enrollments/testing/completions, assigns grades/scoring or awarding of certifications. Sends and reviews training surveys to obtain feedback to improve training delivery and GDOT IT products. Collaborates/develops relationships with GDOT business units to increase class enrollments and address technical needs. Facilitates vendor or contractor delivered training. Develops/updates/maintains IT training content. Complies information to create PowerPoint presentations, IT Trainer Guides, Quick Reference Guides, User Manuals, Storyboards, Videos, and/or Computer Based Training. Engages technical staff to develop training content. Completes recordkeeping for tracking time/activities, timecards, performance indicators, and ensures submitted data is accurate. Works as a team member within the IT organization of GDOT and reports to a Team Leader/Supervisor.
