Ultrasound Tech - PRNUltrasound Sonographer (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)Job Summary Omega Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to produce high-quality images that assist in diagnosing and monitoring patient conditions while ensuring patient comfort and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physiciansPrepare and position patients for imaging proceduresOperate ultrasound equipment to obtain clear diagnostic imagesReview images for quality and completenessMaintain accurate patient records and imaging documentationFollow safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelinesCommunicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team membersQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related fieldCertification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferredCertified in abdominal ultrasoundsClinical experience in ultrasound imagingStrong patient care and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced healthcare environmentWork EnvironmentHospitalMay require evening, weekend, or on-call availability
