Maintenance Mechanic

MechanicThis role involves performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment in an indoor and outdoor production environment. You will work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting and diagnosis on industrial equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime and extend asset life.Repair and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including cylinders, valves, hoses, and related components.Inspect, service, and repair gearboxes and conveyor systems to ensure reliable material handling.Perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment and systems to resolve faults and restore operation.Carry out repairs and maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment, as needed.Use welding skills to repair or fabricate components and support equipment maintenance.Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in a clear and accurate manner.Follow safety procedures and best practices while working in an industrial production environment.Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to prioritize and complete work efficiently.Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions.Why Work Here?You will join a union environment that offers stability, structured support, and clear pathways for advancement.
