Level 5 Master Certified Technician

The Level 5 Master Certified Technician is the highest level of technical expertise within the organization. This role is responsible for advanced diagnostics, complex problem-solving, and driving technical excellence across the operation. The Master Technician plays a critical role in mentoring, training, and supporting overall shop performance. Master-level position Typically possesses more than eight years of experience and/or has demonstrated advanced job-relevant knowledge and skills. A Master Technician exhibits expert-level understanding of the field's standards, technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on significant experience and sound judgment to independently plan, lead, and accomplish goals. Handles a wide variety of advanced, complex, and technical tasks; proactively identifies solutions, takes initiative, and functions with minimal to no supervision. Also provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
