Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in an epic clinical setting and show proficiency in the necessary operational protocols within the surgical environment.

Shift Details

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week
Shift Hours: 06:45 - 15:15
Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks
On-Call Requirements: 1-2 days per week on a rotating schedule

Qualifications

Active Tennessee or compact nursing license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred
1 year of experience as a circulator in the Operating Room
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience is preferred
Travel experience is required

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

Preparing and managing the operating room environment
Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures
Collaborating with surgeons and surgical teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes
Participating in patient assessments and care planning
Administering medications and monitoring patient responses
Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to infection control protocols
