Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Outpatient Surgery \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/21/2026 \n Duration: 16 weeks \n 40 hours per week \n Shift: 10 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Travel RN – Pre-Surgery Assessment / Outpatient Surgery \n Location: Atlanta, GA \n Contract Length: 16 Weeks (09/21/2026 – 01/09/2027) \n Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (Mon–Fri, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No Weekends) \n Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week \n Position Overview: \n \n High-volume outpatient surgical service center in Atlanta seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 16-week pre-surgery clinic assignment. Focuses on preoperative clinical assessments, patient workups, education, and IV placement. Med-Surg RNs with strong peripheral IV skills will be considered. \n Requirements: \n \n 2 years of recent acute/outpatient pre-op surgical or acute Med-Surg experience with strong IV skills \n Active Georgia or Compact multi-state RN license \n Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS \n Radius Rule: Permanent residence must be 50 miles from the facility (travelers only) \n \n Holiday Expectations: \n \n 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day \n 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve \n \n \n Flexible Specialty Filter: Pre-Op/Outpatient RNs preferred, but Med-Surg RNs with strong IV skills are officially accepted. Mandatory Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS are all required for submittal. Schedule & Hours: 16 weeks (09/21/2026 – 01/09/2027), 40 hrs/week guaranteed, 4x10-hr days (Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM). No weekends. Radius Restriction: Travelers only; tax home must be 50 miles from Atlanta, GA (30342). Holiday Policy: Must commit to 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) and 1 minor holiday (Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
