Staff Attorney

We’re seeking a motivated Staff Attorney ready to build meaningful legal experience while developing expertise in the growing field of bankruptcy law. This is an excellent opportunity for a newer attorney, recent bar admittee, or civil/family law associate who wants more courtroom exposure, direct interaction with judges and experienced legal professionals, and a more stable schedule outside of the traditional billable-hour environment. Responsibilities: Represent the Chapter 13 Trustee at creditor meetings and court hearings Handle motion practice and oral arguments Draft legal documents and conduct bankruptcy-related legal research Provide legal guidance and support to office staff and paralegals Work directly with judges, attorneys, creditors, and debtors Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Active California Bar license OR currently awaiting California Bar Exam results 0–10 years of legal experience Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management Self-motivated professional who takes initiative and enjoys working collaboratively Why This Role Stands Out: Hybrid schedule – 2–4 days in office Stable schedule and long-term career opportunity This could be an especially strong fit for a recent bar admittee or early-career attorney looking for hands-on experience and an opportunity to grow within a specialized area of law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
