We are seeking an experienced, driven, and results-oriented Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing insurance agency. The ideal candidate will specialize in developing and selling business insurance solutions to small and mid-sized businesses.

This position requires a highly motivated sales professional with prior commercial insurance experience and a proven track record of successfully generating new business, building client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, identify, and develop relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Generate new commercial insurance opportunities through referrals, networking, outbound prospecting, lead generation, and community involvement.
• Consult with business owners to identify insurance risks and coverage needs.
• Develop and present customized commercial insurance proposals and solutions.
• Sell a variety of commercial insurance products, including but not limited to:
• Business Owners Policies (BOP)
• General Liability
• Commercial Property
• Commercial Auto
• Workers' Compensation
• Professional Liability
• Umbrella and Excess Liability
• Cyber Liability
• Other specialized commercial coverages
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business clients.
• Meet or exceed established new business sales and revenue goals.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and clients throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional coverage and cross-selling.
• Work closely with agency management and support staff to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Maintain accurate client and prospect information within the agency's CRM and management systems.
• Stay current on commercial insurance products, market trends, underwriting requirements, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Previous commercial/business insurance sales experience is required.
• Proven and documented track record of successfully producing commercial insurance business and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License, or the ability to obtain and maintain required licensing.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and generate new business opportunities independently.
• Experience working with business owners and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and highly goal-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously.
• Comfortable with outbound sales, cold calling, networking, and asking for referrals.
• Experience using CRM systems and other sales technology is preferred.
