QA Manager

We are looking for a Manager of QA to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a great opportunity for a quality-focused leader to build and guide a strong QA function, ensuring product reliability and driving continuous improvement across the development lifecycle, in a hybrid role based in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and testing methodologies Oversee manual and automated testing efforts across software releases Partner with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is built into the full development lifecycle Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders Establish and monitor QA metrics and KPIs to measure testing effectiveness and product quality Evaluate and implement testing tools and automation frameworks to improve efficiency Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and documentation requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function Qualifications 5+ years of QA experience, including prior experience leading or managing a QA team Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies and tools Experience with QA processes within Agile/Scrum development environments Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive quality initiatives across cross-functional teams What Our Client Offers Full ownership of QA strategy and tooling decisions, not just execution A development team that treats QA as a true partner, not a final checkpoint Hybrid schedule based in Columbus, OH with flexibility around release cycles Room to build out test automation and modernize existing QA processes Direct collaboration with engineering leadership on product quality goals #J-18808-Ljbffr
