Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Site Coordinator to join our team at 2067 West Vista Way, Suite 275, Vista, CA 922083.Work Schedule: Monday to Friday hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.Job Responsibilities:Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collecting payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:2 years or more of experience as phlebotomistHigh school diploma or GED or equivalentCalifornia state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree3 years or more of experience as phlebotomist2 years or more of experience supervisory roleAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.Experience managing workflow in a patient-centered environment1 year or more phlebotomist experiences pediatric patientsKnowledge of phlebotomy procedures, techniques, and role responsibilities.Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.Be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving recordFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
