Welder

A company located in Dexter is looking for welders on 1st shift. You’ll be responsible for MIG (metal inert gas) welding.

What you’ll be doing as a Welder

• Layout, position, align, and fit components into welding fixture as instructed
• Set up gas shield MIG welder and weld parts to job specifications
• Use basic understanding of blueprints and welding symbols to complete job assignments
• Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job tasks
• Basic maintenance on welding equipment

What you’ll need to succeed as a Welder

• 2 years of MIG welding experience OR completed vocational training with MIG experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use a cutting torch, tape measure
• High School diploma or GED

Additional information for the Welder

• $22.00 hourly
• Monday-Thursday, 4:00am – 2:30pm
• Dexter, 48130
