Operating Room Assistant

Operating Room Assistant at Providence Portland Medical Center 1 FTE, Day shift opening (5, 8‑hr shifts working 0640‑1520) with rotating weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision and direction of the registered perioperative nurse. Assists in the OR function, helping the anesthesia provider, cleaning and preparing operating rooms, safely transporting patients, retrieving and decontaminating equipment, stocking general supplies, processing and maintaining equipment, supplies, instruments, and other related equipment as needed. Required Qualifications National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year clinical experience in an accredited hospital with operating room experience.
