Senior Solutions Architect

Job Summary The Solutions Architect has a major role in providing lead technical services to analyze, design, and deliver clinical or business solutions. Lends expertise to answer technical consulting questions, individually or as part of a project team. Serves as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures related to enterprise applications plans. Prepares and participates in deep‑dive technical evaluation meetings, investigating processes to understand data and communication flows within Community Health Choice systems and applications. Promotes consistency and collaboration with all functional departments with a primary focus on optimizing business processes supported by information technology. Responsible for making recommendations regarding policies associated with the job’s purpose and essential responsibilities. Routine decisions include those regarding systems implementation and interaction with systems across Community Health Choice systems or applications. Minimum Qualifications Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Ten years of experience analyzing, designing, or delivering clinical business solutions (a degree may offset experience: Bachelor’s degree = 4 years; Master’s degree = 2 years). Work Experience: Five (5) years of relational database management system (RDBMS) experience, including knowledge of data types, change control implications, and performance optimization. Equipment Operated: Customary office equipment including PC, copier, fax, and telecommunications equipment. Special Requirements Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking) Bilingual Skills Not Required Writing / Composing Correspondence / Reports Other Skills: Analytical, Design, Medical Terms, Research, PCMS Word, MS Excel. Advanced Education: Bachelor’s Degree major in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related business or technology field; Master’s Degree major in the same areas. Work Schedule: Flexible. Other Requirements: Broad IT industry knowledge with depth in application development, servers, networks, and databases; familiarity with various operating systems used by hospital data processing techniques and practices; working knowledge of a variety of hardware and software environments; experience with full life‑cycle phase software development and architecting internet and client‑server systems, integration, and communications platforms. Skills: Process mapping, group presentation, written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to stringent timelines, and ability to apply industry IT knowledge to address business challenges.
