divh2Cafe Assistant - Floater/h2pThe job of Cafe Assistant - Floater is done for the purpose of working, as assigned, in either a Nutrition Services Worker or a Cashier - Food Services position./ppstrongEssential Functions/strong/pulliStocks food, condiments and supplies/liliCleans utensils, equipment, storage and food serving areas/liliPerforms cashier duties, including collecting payments and prepayments/liliMaintains student charges, at a minimum, identifies students exceeding the charged allowance limits and alerts office staff of alternate meals served to students/liliPrepares documentation (e.g. production sheets, daily reports, inventory logs, equipment order forms, etc.)/liliOversees the processing of student accounts and recognizes reimbursable meals for eligibility to participate in the National School Lunch program/liliReconciles transactions/liliServes one or more items of food/liliMaintains confidentiality of student school lunch eligibility/liliParticipates in various activities (e.g. estimate/requisition food quantities, marketing activities, barbeques, picnics, etc.)/liliAssists other personnel as may be required/li/ulpstrongRequirements:/strong/pulliCriminal justice fingerprint/background clearance/liliMust possess or be able to obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire/liliAbility to read, write and communicate clearly in English/li/ulpThis is a 10 month School Year position only./p/div
