Production Material Handler I - Day shift

Penumbra seeks a Production Material Handler I to manage inbound and outbound materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and support manufacturing operations in a medical device production facility. The role involves inventory tracking, material processing, equipment operation, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate logs and records for material receipts, returns, and lot control using ERP/MRP systems
- Monitor and manage Kanban inventory levels in production areas and reconcile discrepancies
- Pull, verify, and issue materials to production floor while ensuring traceability
- Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and hand trucks safely
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and escalate issues to supervisor as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 1+ years manufacturing experience
- Computer proficiency and ability to follow written instructions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and work day shift (7am-3:30pm)
- Satisfactory background check completion
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 / hour
